TEDxTAMU is an independently organized event that is aiming to bring TED’s unique experience to Texas A&M University.TEDx events are a suite of short, carefully prepared talks, demonstrations and performances on a wide range of subjects to foster learning, inspiration and wonder — and to provoke conversations that matter.  Our goal is to bring together the world’s leaders, smartest thinkers, and greatest visionaries to share and inspire new ideas not only at our campus, but around the world. TEDxTAMU is an awesome opportunity to give the brightest students and faculty the opportunity to come and collaborate on ideas that will help change the world and inspire the next generation.  Join us April 5, 2014 to help launch Texas A&M second annual TEDx event.  Keep checking this website for updates on TEDxTAMU.  You can like us on facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/pages/TEDx-TAMU/570926219593243?fref=ts or follow us on twitter! @TEDxTAMU.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTAMU, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTAMU event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
